Hiking peaks in Glacier National Park

Allen Mountain, Glacier National Park

Brandon Phillips

Founder, Owner, and Head Guide

My outdoor journey began as a young child growing up in Texas. While outdoor recreation opportunities were scarce in Texas, I was fortunate to enjoy a few childhood ski trips to Colorado with my family. Those mountain experiences instilled a sense of belonging in me.

After graduating high school, I took a leap of faith and moved to Colorado for a winter ski season. As the saying goes in ski towns, "you come for the winter and stay for the summer." This sentiment proved true for me. I quickly fell in love with Colorado and, after three years, decided to explore new horizons. This led me to move to Montana in 2020 and thru-hike the 2,200-mile Appalachian Trail in 2021.

For the past two years, I've spent my summers guiding in Montana. My passion for nature and sharing Montana's raw beauty with others inspired me to start my own guiding business in 2023.

When I'm not guiding, I spend my free time exploring the outdoors with my dog. Hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, backpacking, and snowboarding are just some of my hobbies. I also enjoy learning about the region's geography, wildlife, and flora and fauna.

I look forward to showing you around Montana, sharing my knowledge and experience, and helping you create unforgettable memories during your vacation.
