Our signature hike and float trip covers a scenic 4-mile trail with an 800-foot elevation gain. This manageable yet invigorating hike leads you to a pristine alpine lake, where the adventure truly begins. Packrafting Experience
At the alpine lake, your guide will unpack the equipment for the next phase of your adventure. The guide carries the first two packrafts, two sets of paddles, and two life vests, ensuring a smooth transition from hiking to floating. Our packrafts are designed for ease and convenience, weighing approximately 3 pounds each. When combined with the life vest and paddles, the total weight comes to around 6 pounds per person, making them perfect for carrying on the hike.
Included Amenities
To make your journey even more enjoyable, we provide locally made fresh sandwiches for lunch. Savor these delicious meals surrounded by the stunning scenery of the alpine lake, making for a perfect mid-adventure picnic.
Optional Fishing
For those with a Montana state fishing license and a fishing pole, you're welcome to bring your gear and try your luck at the alpine lake. Please note that while fishing is permitted, our guides are not fishing guides and will not provide fishing instruction or equipment.
