Many Glacier Access Will Be Extremely Limited
🚧 Swiftcurrent Motor Inn Construction – Many Glacier will have very restricted vehicle access in 2025 due to Swiftcurrent Motor Inn undergoing major renovations. The National Park Service has announced that parking and entry into Many Glacier will be extremely limited throughout the season.
What This Means for You:
It will be very difficult to drive into Many Glacier due to restricted access.
The park's Many Glacier shuttle service will be extremely limited.
Popular hikes like Grinnell Glacier, Iceberg Lake, Ptarmigan Tunnel, and Cracker Lake may be harder to access.

Vehicle Reservations Required for 2025
To reduce congestion, Glacier National Park requires vehicle reservations for key areas of the park in 2025. If you plan to drive your own vehicle, you will need to secure a vehicle reservation for the following areas:
📅 Going-to-the-Sun Road: Required from June 13 – September 8, 2025
📅 Many Glacier: Very limited due to construction (see above)
📅 Two Medicine: Required from July 1 – September 8, 2025
📅 Polebridge Entrance: Required from May 24 – September 8, 2025
