Our guide recommended gear

Backpacks

  • Osprey Exos Pro 55 - Ultra light and very comfortable pack, and of course, the lifetime osprey warranty.

  • Hyperlite SouthWest 55 - Extremely light weight waterproof pack, so no pack liner needed!

  • Osprey Daylite - If it’s not broke don’t fix it. You can’t go wrong with this durable 20L pack.

Sleeping system

Tents

Sleeping bags

Sleeping Pads

  • Therm-a-Rest Nero Air XLite - There is a reason this is one of the most popular sleeping pads on the market; light and comfortable.

  • Therm-a-Rest Z Lite Sol - A closed cel foam pad for those who want to save on weight, money, or don’t want to risk getting a hole in their blow up sleeping pad.

  • Amazon Sleeping Pad - Light weight, cheap, and more comfortable than a closed cell foam pad.

Pillow

  • Therm-a-Rest Air Head - Weighs basically nothing, fits in your pocket, and you can blow it up to your firmness liking.

Kitchen

Miscelaneous/Necesities

  • 2 - 1L Water Bottles - smart water bottles work great

  • Sawyer Squeeze Water Filter - Your guide will carry a water filter that removes bacteria, protozoa, E. Coli, giardia, vibrio cholerea, Salmonella typhi, and microplastics.

  • Nightcore Headlamp - While there are many great headlamp options out there, we like this one due to its feather weight and you can you charge it (no batteries needed)!

  • Bear Spray - We will supply you with bear spray.

  • 5L or 10L Dry Bag - This is for your clothes, any dry bag on amazon will work just fine.

  • Garmin In-Reach Mini and Medical Kit - Guide will carry.
